The color is light yellowish brown. The wood of the Oak is fine, glossy, flat fibrous, not always regular, slightly stale. The wooden strips are very large. It is well glued, varnished and painted. It is a resistant species.
No large oscillations in color, no twisted wire-fibers, no knot and no bleach. Mild discoloration is allowed.
Slight discoloration is allowed, the twisted grain is fully visible, also a small knot in the wood color, without sapwood.
Uneven color, allowed small healthy knots and knots, allowed sapwood, without cracked knots and without insect bites.
