Double-layer floors are floors made of two types of wood in our case from quality oak lamellas 4mm thick as well as 3mm and waterproof birch plywood from a renowned manufacturer of 10mm and 12mm.
Double-layer floors can be placed on any high-quality floor, are less susceptible to slight changes compared to other massive floors and are recommended in rooms with underfloor heating. Their great advantage is that they can be done in a fairly large selection of widths and lengths at the customer’s request and are recommended in large dimensions.
The floor surface is relatively uniform in color, without knots and sapwood, without filled defects, with allowed knots up to 3mm in the wood color, as well as slight discoloration and variations in the annual rings.
The surface of the floor with a slightly stronger texture (rings) small differences in color without bleach with allowed gitted errors, dark lumps up to 10mm and healthy lumps up to 10mm in limited number wood color.
The floor surface is of a slightly coarser texture with a greater color variation, filled defects, with dark knots in the wood color, without sapwood and cracks.
